League’s "Mini" Newsletter Oct 18th, 2001
OCTOBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING OFFERS OUTSTANDING SLIDE SHOW
If you enjoy great photography of whitetail deer, turkeys and coyotes, you will not want to miss the Oct. Membership Meeting, Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the VFW Hall, 133 E. Lakeside St., Madison.
Scott Bianchini is a top-notch photographer who spends countless hours in the outdoors of southern Wisconsin taking up-close and personal picture of these animals in their natural habitat. Scott has photos of some of the biggest bucks you will ever see, and he will share some of his secrets of how he captures these critters on film.
As always, there will be great door prizes, and this would be an excellent program for the whole family, or a friend who enjoys great photography of nature’s finest.
Our two sections of Hwy 18 were also recently cleaned up, and again, thanks for your assistance.
The flag has been lowered at the farm signaling the end of our season, to be raised again in April when the farm opens next April. Preparations are already under for next year and the pheasants and quail have been ordered to arrive in May. Another learning year for all, and we are thankful to all those members who assisted with the farm and other League activities as there were many.
Until our next newsletter, have a safe fall season. The colors have been spectacular this season. Wisconsin sure is a beautiful place to live. Hope to see you at the meeting on the 23rd
